They are like having children. Which is nice and I have children. But children grow up and become increasingly independent. Dogs don’t do that. The are perpetually child like.

Cats are fairly independent and can be a little obnoxious which cracks me up. I think cats are a bit sarcastic…. I mean if they were able to communicate with us I think that would be their tone. Sarcasm. And in that way they are my spirit animal.
